By now every kid knows that you don’t mess with the sun. That’s why mom and dad always make such a fuss about applying sunscreen. And the kids make an even bigger fuss. “Yuck, sticky! Gross, everything’s slippery! Help, I got sunscreen in my eye!”
That’s why we’ve added an invisible feature to this product: UPF 50+*. Invisible? Sounds like a superpower (and it is). With UPF 50+, this shirt protects more comprehensively from the sun than anything else. Thanks to its thumb loops, Lika won’t ride up along the arms, and the hood is sewn in a way that to ensure it stays on the head and the neck is protected – even during wild movements.
Furthermore, the high-quality Econyl fabric, made in Italy, is light, stretchy, and super comfortable to wear. Lika dries incredibly fast and is immediately ready for the next adventure, making it the ideal companion for hikes or hours of splashing in the lake.
*The UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) has been tested according to the European standard 13758-1 for proven effectiveness, corresponds to the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) in sunscreen, and protects the skin it covers from harmful UV radiation. But beware: Every superhero has her Kryptonite. If the product is very tight on a child, or if the fabric is stretched or wet, the UV protection can become less effective. Wear and tear, pool chemicals, and saltwater also diminish its protective powers over time.
